A growing number of ministries are teaming up with The Urban Mission to become more effective in reaching our communities for Christ. Thus far, this alliance consists of (click on the underlined names to view their site):

Baden Community Christian Church is The Urban Mission's first church plant. It was founded in the home of Scott & Terri Jewell in 1999. This church is currently merged with North City Church of Christ in a reconciliation effort within the Restoration Movement.

North City Church of Christ is a church plant that Mid-County Church of Christ founded through the efforts of Chris & Kelliann Hale in 1995. Eventually, they merged with a group from Metropolitan Church of Christ and are now led by Robert Lawrence in the Mark Twain neighborhood. They joined up with The Urban Mission in 2007.

Lampstand Ministries is a homeless ministry that seeks to build relationships with the homeless of downtown St. Louis. This ministry is led by Derrick Simmons. Many of the volunteers come from St. Louis Christian College and area churches.
