The Urban Mission exists for three reasons:
  1. To plant and support Restoration Movement Churches in St. Louis. This is the city where God has called us to focus our efforts. More and more people are beginning to join this effort.
  2. To help others plant urban Restoration Movement Churches. It can be difficult to get started without 501(c)3 status. We would like to become an umbrella organization under which urban church planters will be able to get their work started.
  3. To raise awareness among the Restoration Movement Churches for the need to plant urban churches. Our trend has been to plant churches in the suburban and rural regions of our country, while ignoring the need for Christ in our cities. It is our goal to help change this trend.
